This article provides a Reformed interpretation of Revelation 12, arguing that the woman represents the unified church of both Old and New Testaments, pregnant with Christ throughout redemptive history, while the male child is Jesus Christ. McGeown demonstrates how Satan's persecution of the church—from his Old Testament accusations against the saints to his New Testament attacks on the church—was ultimately defeated by Christ's substitutionary sacrifice and exaltation.
