This article examines the doctrine of biblical inspiration, specifically how the Holy Spirit moved the human authors of Scripture to write God's Word while preserving their individual personalities and literary gifts. Drawing on 2 Peter 1:21, the author explains that divine sovereignty in inspiration did not make the biblical writers mere robots, but rather that God sovereignly prepared and equipped specific men for their particular roles in writing Scripture.
