Vanity of Vanities
We turn to the second verse of the first chapter of Ecclesiastes and read, "Vanity of vanities, saith the preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity." Doubtless, no other book in the Bible has suffered so many misapprehensions in a theological point of view, as the book of Ecclesiastes.
