I was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on October 25, 1955, the first-born child of Roger and Florence Key, and was baptized in Wyoming Park Christian Reformed Church. As a toddler through junior high school I grew up in Jenison, Michigan. I went to Jenison Christian School through the eighth grade.
