Unity in the Church

Among the first casualties to occur during times of controversy is church unity. Active efforts to “seek peace, and ensue it” often fall by the wayside when other matters in the church seem more pressing. But the admonition to pursue unity found in 1 Peter 3:8–11 is not presented as optional.
