Rev. Angus Stewart argues that Romans 9:10-24 provides biblical proof for the doctrine of unconditional election and reprobation, using the example of Jacob and Esau to demonstrate God's absolute sovereignty in salvation and condemnation apart from human merit or works. The article addresses common objections to this doctrine by showing how Scripture itself anticipates and answers criticisms against God's righteous exercise of sovereign predestination.
