The seventh commandment and the single life
This article by Ryan Barnhill addresses how single Christians should live in light of the seventh commandment, using the Heidelberg Catechism as its theological foundation. Drawing on the doctrine that believers are united to Christ (the Head of the church), Barnhill provides positive guidance for sexual purity and holy living in the unmarried state, organizing his instruction around three categories beginning with "C," starting with Christ as the centerpiece of Christian identity for singles.
