Who Am I

(1)  I was born in Hallum, Friesland, at the beginning of the century.  Although I was sent out to work at the age of 12, I did manage to take up a correspondence course.  This, besides my activities in the Young Men’s Society, served as an early preparation for my office in the ministry in later years.
