Do You Know?

Do you know that more money has been spent last year in our fair country for liquor than was spent for education in all its branches?  Though we cannot on the basis of Scripture teach prohibition, nevertheless, it is well in this “drinking age” to remember the words of Scripture warning against the misuse of wine.  Think only of Eph. 5:18 “And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit”.  Temperance in all cases, abstinence in many, remains the rule.  May our young...
