April 2007 57 The entire kingdom will serve this perfect covenant life, for God will be all and in all. In Him will all the citizens find delight. Isaiah 65 describes the blessedness of the kingdom. This is the new heaven and earth (v. 17). God promises, “I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people” (v. 19).
