Jonathan Mahtani addresses the common student complaint that academic material lacks practical life application by presenting seven biblical and philosophical reasons why this question reflects foolish thinking. Drawing on Ecclesiastes 10:12-15, Mahtani argues that students lack the ability to predict the future usefulness of knowledge and exhorts them toward wisdom and proper respect for education within a Christian worldview.
