July 8—Read Nehemiah 12 In this chapter, we have the dedication of the walls of Jerusalem. The ruins had been there for 150 years, and now they were finally being restored. The people had shown they were committed to the work. Many of them had committed to living in the run-down city, and they had many trials along the way, but now it was time for the dedication.
