This is a brief report of the September 2016 meeting of Classis West of the Protestant Reformed Churches, documenting routine denominational business and an officebearers' conference on biblical counseling. The conference featured instruction from Reformed pastors on the principles, practice, and local church implementation of biblical counseling as a pastoral care tool.

Classis West met in regular session on September 28, 2016, in Randolph, WI. Rev. S. Key opened the meeting with devotions and an exhortation based on I Thessalonians 2:1-6. He reminded the delegates that God has entrusted us with the gospel.
