Teaching our children love for the church
Den Hartog argues that Reformed parents have unique theological motivation to instill in their children a love for God's church, grounded in the Reformed understanding of the covenant and the status of covenant children as true members of the church from birth. Drawing on Old and New Testament passages and Psalter selections, the author demonstrates how Scripture promises God's blessing on covenant families and calls children to participate in worship and praise within the church community.
