In our last editorial we expressed the considered opinion that we personally viewed with alarm the apparent dis­inclination of many of our people to seriously concern themselves with the issues now under discussion by our lead­ers. We made an appeal for sound and sane thinking, for a serious approach, and a forthright treatment of each im­portant aspect of the various questions involved.
