I Learned to Pray
At mothers knee I learned to pray, And she it was who taught me to say – “Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep.” And when I’m old and bent and gray Let me at the close of life, Lord, say – “If I should die before I wake, I pray the Lord me soul to take.” Prayer
