Griess presents the Lord's Supper as a divine dialogue in which God communicates His nourishment and care to His covenant people while simultaneously revealing their spiritual need for ongoing sustenance in the Christian life. Drawing on the Heidelberg Catechism and Reformed liturgical forms, the article explores how Christ feeds and strengthens believers through this sacrament as they progress toward everlasting life.
