The Second Helvetic Confession
Background The Second Helvetic Confession was written in 1562 by Heinrich Bullinger (1504–1575), whose life we considered in the June issue of Beacon Lights. It was intended by Bullinger to be a personal testimony that would be buried with him, but it was published earlier at the request of Elector Frederick III.
