The PRCA and the true/false church (5)
Rev. Joshua Engelsma warns the PRCA against pride and separatism in applying the true/false church distinction, arguing that while the PRCA may be faithful churches, they should not regard all other denominations as false or treat them with contempt. Drawing on historical examples from the 1960s and 1980s, Engelsma advocates for humble gratitude for the PRCA's Reformed heritage while maintaining proper charitable relations with other Christian communions.
