Sacraments as a means of grace

The children of God are greatly blessed, for their Father in heaven has granted to them his grace, that is, his attitude of undeserved favor toward them. God’s grace was earned for his people upon the cross of our Savior Jesus Christ and is bestowed upon them through means.
