Sometime previous to the year of 1933, a Protestant Reformed Church was organized in Los Angeles, California. Soon after that there were also people in Bellflower and vicinity who were dissatisfied with the doctrine as preached in the Christian Reformed Church. However, the distance to Los Angeles made this impractical for dairy folk. An attempt was made to rent a building somewhere between Bellflower and Los Angeles, but this failed to materialize as some families still would have to travel...
