January 8  Read Psalms 42 and 43 According to my study Bible, Psalms 42 and 43 should go together.  The section is split into three stanzas, with the command “Hope thou in God” separating each one.  The first stanza talks about how the trials of life cause the child of God to yearn after his heavenly Father.  The second stanza brings out the idea that although we sometimes feel forsaken as our enemies chase and ridicule us, our God will never abandon us.  The third stanza, which is Psalm 43,...
