L ast year, (in British Reformed Journal No. 21 Jan .- March 1998) the present writer reviewed · volume 1 of David Calhoun's History of Princeton Seminary. The first volume of Calhoun's narrative ended at a pivotal point in the history of Northern Presbyterianism: the reunion of the Old School and New School Assemblies in 1869.
