Is it proper to speak of the deacons' work as having aprophetic aspect? Are Gerard Berghoef and Lester De Koster right to devote a page of their book to the subject of "The Deacon As Teacher"?¹ After all, Scripture requires that bishops be "apt to teach" (I Tim. 3:2), but makes no such requirement regarding deacons.
