The sixteenth-century Reformation in Zurich
This article examines the sixteenth-century Reformation in Zurich through the lens of God's sovereign work in reforming His church. The author argues that reformation is fundamentally a return to biblical doctrine, worship, and practice, accomplished through the Spirit-empowered preaching of men like Martin Luther whom God sovereignly raised up for this purpose. The resource provides theological perspective on how God uses human instruments to effect spiritual renewal and doctrinal correction within the church.
