Rejoicing in God Personally

How does God speak to us in Scripture about rejoicing? Sometimes he speaks to us in the form of a command: “Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice” (Phil. 4:4). Sometimes he speaks in the form of a declaration, announcing that we, as his people, are in a joyful or blessed situation.
