I have these questions: How was the “Flood” worked? What is the meaning of the text at (Gen.) 7:11? Was the “Flood” universal? There is first the question of how God worked the flood. The text at 7:11 states, “And all the fountains of the great deep were opened” or broken up, suddenly cleaved, Heb. baqa, “and the lattices of heaven were opened”.
