In The Standard Bearer, Sept. 1, under the heading, "News from our Churches" the statement is made referring to Rev. J. M. MC Collam's resignation as pastor of the Prot. Ref. Church (cf. II Peter 2:22). There we read, "It has happened unto them according to the true proverb, the dog turning to his vomit again, and the sow that has been washed to the wallowing in the mire."
