David Engelsma offers a critical examination of the postmillennial interpretation of Revelation 20, presenting both exegetical and doctrinal objections from the Reformed amillennial perspective. The article argues that Revelation 20:4 describes the intermediate state of martyred believers reigning in heaven rather than a future earthly millennium, thereby undermining postmillennial doctrine through careful biblical exegesis.
