This article defends the reliability and permanence of Christ's words, particularly His eschatological promises regarding His second coming, against modern skepticism and scoffing. The author argues that Christ's affirmation in Matthew 24:35 extends to the preservation of the entire canon of Scripture (Old and New Testaments) and demonstrates how biblical interpretation must hold fast to Christ's promises despite worldly opposition and the delay of His return.
