Will Material Conditions Improve?

So reads the caption covering one of Rev. H. J. Kuiper's articles in The Banner of Feb. 19. The reverend wrote: "One of our readers say that there is a good deal of pessimism among our people regarding the future. Some claim that according to the Bible working condi­tions will never improve but will gradually get worse until the end of the world. They say there is an over­production of everything and that with all the modern machinery we shall never be able to consume all that is produced....
