The point we made in our previous comment on the report of the committee is that the committee in delineating on the matter of the introduction of Hymns in public worship obscured the issue it sought to prove. As was said, the question, properly stated, is not whether the New Testament Church may regulate its public worship or whether the free song shall be used alongside of the Psalms, but whether in public service the free song shall be used alongside of versified scriptures.
