This article examines how premillennialism interprets Revelation 20:1-10, the only scriptural passage mentioning a thousand-year period, and argues that all eschatological systems must adequately account for this passage's teaching on Satan's binding and loosing, the reign of martyred saints, and the final judgment. Engelsma provides detailed exegetical analysis of the fundamental end-times events described in Revelation 20 and their culmination in history's conclusion.
