A Redeeming Truth
It is refreshing to the soul to peruse some of the works of John Calvin in which he both criticizes the modem perversion of the truth he loved and taught and also ably sets forth and defends that truth. When we consider the arguments which he brings forth and notate his repeated appeals to Scripture to support his conviction, we are deeply convinced of his sincerity and persuaded that the system of truth which he propounded is more than a set of dogmas.
