Titus—The Holy Life of the Church
This is the third of the Pastoral Epistles which Paul wrote, the others being I and II Timothy. He wrote this letter to Titus who was working in the church on the Island of Crete. HISTORICAL OCCASION Titus is addressed in this letter as, "my own son after the common faith" (Titus 1:4). This indicates that he probably was a Greek Christian, converted under Paul's preaching.
