“Buy the truth and sell it not.” Prov. 23:23 John Bunyans incomparable story, Pilgrim s Progress, sees Christian and Faithful passing through Vanity Fair (this world), where all kinds of merchandise are displayed for sale: houses, lands, trades, businesses, titles, public and ecclesiastical offices, countries, kingdoms; lusts, pleasures and delights, as whores, wives, husbands, children, masters, servants, lives, blood, bodies, souls, silver, gold and all earths natural resources.
