The antithesis in paradise
This foundational article by Herman Hoeksema from the October 1924 inaugural issue of the Standard Bearer refutes dualistic theology by grounding the antithesis between good and evil in Reformed biblical doctrine rather than in conflicting primal principles. Through careful theological argumentation, Hoeksema establishes the proper Reformed understanding of how light and darkness, holiness and corruption relate to God's sovereignty and the created order, making it essential for understanding early PRCA theological identity.
