Rev. Gerrit Vos reflects on a devastating tornado that struck Hudsonville in 1956 as a manifestation of God's sovereign providence and majesty, using Psalm 46 to interpret the event theologically. Through vivid imagery of destruction and loss, Vos examines how believers should respond to God's awesome and terrible works with reverent fear and submission, finding in natural disaster both judgment and a call to deeper faith.
