War has come to our own pos­sessions. Before the year 1941 had come to a close, Almighty God in the unfolding of His Divine Counsel brought the dive bombers to our island possessions in the Pacific. The implement of war, which was developed to the degree of its great effectiveness in mod­ern warfare in the United States, has been effectively used to destroy a portion of our naval strength. How much damage was actually done at Pearl Harbor in this sur­prise attack is at present not fully known....
