Summary of a talk given by Rev. Herman Hoeksema the evening of February 4, 1936. The title of this article suggests our motivation in publishing it. The word pertinent signifies proper, appropriate. I will bear in mind, there­fore the occasion which is a gathering of Christian, Protestant Reformed Young People. In classifying these questions there is some arrangement and limita­tion necessary.
