By "covenantal wrath" or "covenantal vengeance" I understand a manifestation of God's wrath and vengeance which is peculiar to the sphere of God's covenant. That is, it is peculiar not in its nature as such: God's wrath is always the reaction of His holiness against sin and against the workers of iniquity. But it is peculiar in its measure.
