Rev. H. Danhof, in his exposition of Luke 6:35, calls attention to the fact (Standard Bearer, Aug. 1925, p. 21) that the text makes mention of but one kind of divine love. And so it is. Says Jesus: "For He, God, is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil." Matthew has it: "For He maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust."
