If we would ask anyone to name the key Reformers of the Reformation, it is doubtful that Martin Bucer would be named. Unlike Luther, Calvin, and Zwingli, Martin Bucer has no Protestant group which directly claims him as their spiritual father. As a result, he has never received very much attention by historians.
