Nonsense Indeed, But Not Biblical

The timid voice of supposed conservatism in the Christian Reformed Church, Torch and Trumpet, rather regularly carries a department called "Believe It or Not." And sometimes "Believe It or Not -- by Edwin Palmer" is indeed harder to believe than "Believe It or Not -- by Ripley."
