God’s Omnipotence

“Alleluia! For the Lord God omnipo­tent reigneth!” (Rev. 19:6). These words are recorded in that final piece of the vision which begins at Rev. 17:1. There begins the picture and history of Babylon, the Great Whore. In chapter 18 we have her glory and the lament over her ruin. Then in chapter 19:1-10, the doxology to God for her judgment and overthrow.
