I have a question regarding the use of God’s name. Many today in Protestant Reformed societies, and all over the world, say phrases such as “Oh my word,” “Oh my goodness,” as well as many more sayings of this sort. Is speaking in this fashion inherently wrong, or has the common use of these phrases caused them to change meaning?
