At the last Synod of the Protestant Reformed Churches, a decision was taken which directly affects the financing of the mission work of the churches. It was a rather momentous decision, a departure from the ordinary practice of the churches to raise necessary funding through Synodical assessments. Yet few have been made aware of the decision.
