Our Open Forum

It had almost seemed as if our Open Forum, where the readers air their views, had quietly passed out of existence.  In fact, the few spurts of life that it showed in the past hardly merited the right to say that it had begun to live and breathe.  But we kept courage just the same.  Sometimes the thought pressed to the fore that we had chosen a name for this department that sounded too aristocratic.  It probably scared the readers out instead of spurring them on to send in their contributions....
