This article addresses the relationship between justification by faith alone and the good works of believers, responding to the common objection that such doctrine undermines Christian holiness. Huizinga clarifies how the fruits of faith relate to assurance and the Christian life while maintaining that good works play no role in justification itself, thereby connecting the doctrines of justification and sanctification in Reformed theology.
