I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Philippians 4:13 Paul had learned to be content. As Paul pens this letter to the church at Philippi, he is in prison in Rome, awaiting possible execution for the sake of the gospel. After several failed attempts and with much effort, the church at Philippi had finally managed to send a gift to him. This gives Paul great joy (v. 10).
